CARE 21
The Foundation 21 Society was established in 1992 to recognize St. Mary Medical Center’s many partners in the community who set an exemplary standard of giving in support of the work of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.
The CARE Circle of the Foundation 21 Society (or as we call it, "CARE 21") was formed to raise awareness and funding for the only comprehensive HIV/AIDS program in Long Beach, providing medical and social services to the local community. All funds raised by the CARE 21 members are used to fund CARE’s programs and services, including HIV counseling and testing, family services, CARE’s medical and dental clinics, and the CARE food bank.
